Job summary

Lockheed Martin, Missile and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks an Operations Analyst Sr Stf to set engineering basis for production work across the MFC network. You will define standards, time them, schedule, and measure performance on the shop floor.

You will develop labor standards, analyze capacity and flow, and collaborate with production control, quality, and finance to deploy methods across sites. Strong SAP, ERP, and data skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of professional experience in industrial/ manufacturing engineering or operations analysis (8 years with related Master's).
• Experience developing and maintaining labor standards and manufacturing routings.
• Knowledge of ERP production data structures and workload scheduling.
• Experience performing capacity, line balance, or throughput analysis on live production.
• Factory floor experience with production, planning, and quality.
• Advanced Excel and ability to analyze large production data sets.
• Must be a US Citizen to work at this location.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards and routings and defend them to leadership.
• Analyze production spans and work in process to identify non-value-added time and quantify recoverable hours.
• Build capacity and rate readiness models supporting production decisions.
• Translate standards into scheduling parameters to drive realistic lead times.
• Perform factory layout, flow, line balance, and takt analysis.
• Collaborate with multiple sites to deploy common methods.
• Convert analyses into executive-facing recommendations with verifiable figures.
