Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Planner in Grand Prairie, TX to coordinate MRP planning and BOM changes, optimize material flow, and support shop floor scheduling. The role requires scheduling, inventory management, and lean manufacturing knowledge.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Operations and Engineering to meet production targets while maintaining system integrity and efficient capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relative experience.
• Scheduling/planning experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs Make, Buy and BOM planning within MRP transactions.
• Maintains production systems to optimize inventory and minimize cost.
• Expedites material flow to meet customer requirements and preserves schedule.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and operations to control shop floor scheduling.
• Sets time-phased plans for procured parts and ensures delivery per production schedule.
• Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes; interfaces with Engineering for BOM changes.
