Job summary

Aurora in Pittsburgh is seeking a Manufacturing Production Manager to lead the Hardware Operations - Manufacturing team. You will plan, manage, and execute production of Aurora products, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.

You will oversee Production Planners and Project Managers, report status to leadership, maintain supply to meet demand, and drive continuous improvement using ERP/MES tools. The role is hybrid with in-office days.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in production management; may include time as an individual contributor.
• Strong Production Planning knowledge.
• Experience with ERP implementation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing designs.
• Experience in Manufacturing in R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Production Planners and Project Managers.
• Communicate manufacturing status to leadership at check-ins and reviews.
• Deliver supply to meet aggregate manufacturing demand for Aurora.
• Track KPIs like cost metrics and production efficiency.
• Host stand-ups for Vehicle Integration, Modules and Harnesses.
• Support fleet demand for hardware issue resolution and parts.
• Champion ERP usage for transactions and inventory control.
• Ensure Production Readiness and Clear To Build for HWIL benches.
• Coordinate MBOM data with New Vehicle Introduction and ERP.
• Align resources with production needs while allowing design changes.
