Aurora is seeking a Manufacturing Production Manager to join the Hardware Operations - Manufacturing team. You will lead Production Planners and Project Managers, ensure on-time delivery, and drive quality and cost controls while reporting status to leadership at key reviews.

You will drive production readiness, collaborate with New Vehicle Introduction, coordinate with Supply Chain, and champion ERP usage to log transactions and inventory.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in production management; may include time spent as an individual contributor in a production office.
• Knowledge in Production Planning.
• Experience with ERP implementation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing designs.
• Manufacturing in R&D environments.

Responsabilités

• Communicate manufacturing status to Hardware leadership at recurring check-ins, development gate reviews, change control board, risk assessments, and program meetings.
• Manage a team of Production Planners and Project Managers.
• Deliver the supply to meet aggregate manufacturing demand for Aurora, including vehicle and independent demand for internal and external manufacturing as well as repair and maintenance of the Aurora Driver Kit.
• Track KPIs in the Quality Management System, such as cost metrics and production efficiency.
• Champion ERP usage to log all business transactions, including job work data and inventory controls.
• Ensure Production Readiness and Clear To Build for Hardware in the Loop benches and integration assemblies.
• Collaborate with New Vehicle Introduction engineering for MBOM creation and data management.
• Coordinate with manufacturing leadership for resources to maximize production efficiencies while adopting approved design changes.
