Perfecto Tool and Engineering Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Estimator who understands how parts are made and can translate drawings into accurate, competitive estimates.

This role goes beyond desk pricing and requires hands-on input on manufacturability, lead times, and cost drivers. You will partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to validate methods, develop routings and labor estimates, and document assumptions and risks.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on or technical experience in high-mix, low-volume fabrication.
• Ability to translate requirements into manufacturability and cost.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and materials.
• Commercial judgment balancing value and risk.
• Clear communication with Sales, Engineering, Operations, customers, and suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Review customer drawings and specs to establish scope and manufacturability.
• Develop routings, labor estimates, material needs, and other cost inputs.
• Identify cost drivers, technical risks, missing information, and potential failure points before quoting.
• Document assumptions, exclusions, risks, and open questions for commercial/manufacturing teams.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to validate methods, capacity, lead times, and execution risk.
• Support quote reviews and pricing decisions.
• Improve estimating tools and share manufacturing knowledge across the organization.
