Job summary

Medtronic North Haven is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a 2nd shift team on site. You will install, inspect, repair, and optimize manufacturing equipment used in medical device production, collaborating with engineers and production staff to maximize uptime and quality.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of PLCs and automation systems, and documentation in CMMS, with a focus on reliability improvements and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment in production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting equipment process improvements, machine modifications, and reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment used in medical device production.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and repair or replace components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot controllers, electrical systems, PLCs, robotics, and other automated systems.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history in CMMS.
