Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to lead development and deployment of high‑volume production equipment. You will drive equipment strategy, work with design, operations, and suppliers to ensure safety, quality, throughput, and reliability.

You will own projects from concept through production launch, improving manufacturability and enabling scalable ramp‑ups across diverse product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field and 6+ years in manufacturing engineering or equipment environments.
• Experience purchasing, developing, installing, or commissioning manufacturing equipment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing scale-up and production ramp activities.
• Strong DFM/DFA experience with design teams.
• Experience writing SOPs and manufacturing documentation.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Own development, procurement, build, and deployment of manufacturing equipment and workstations.
• Lead equipment strategy from manual prototypes to automated production systems.
• Define equipment requirements, specs, and performance targets.
• Support capital equipment projects from concept through launch.
• Provide DFM/ DFA feedback to design teams and improve manufacturability.
• Lead installation, qualification, and validation of equipment; support ramp-up.
