Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech in Puerto Rico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team in Anasco. You will establish standards, drive line-side support, and advance productivity and process reliability across value streams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 8+ years in manufacturing engineering or regulated environments, plus strong leadership, project management, and GMP/ISO experience. Up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required; advanced degree or leadership training is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or regulated ops is preferred.
• People leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team with clear priorities.
• Establish engineering standards and governance for manufacturing areas.
• Drive performance metrics: yield, uptime, OEE, and productivity.
• Lead programs and projects with safety, regulatory, and financial discipline.
• Provide leadership for root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
