Job summary
Power Solutions International in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the day‑to‑day manufacturing engineering activities. You will drive safe, efficient, repeatable processes and support new product introduction across the plant.
Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, you will optimize layouts, tooling, work instructions, and process controls while partnering with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to deliver measurable improvements
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience leading engineers or cross-functional manufacturing projects.
- Experience implementing manufacturing processes, layouts, tooling, and production flow.
- Working knowledge of Lean methods: 5S, Kaizen, standard work, waste reduction.
- Experience with PFMEA, Process Control Plans, and NPI readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team with clear priorities.
- Translate strategy into executable plans and daily support for operations.
- Improve plant layout, tooling, and work instructions for efficiency.
- Support new product introduction and engineering changes.
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
