Job summary

Beehive Industries, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to own the end-to-end manufacturing engineering strategy and execution across the product lifecycle, from NPI through ramp and rate manufacturing. You will unify Centers of Excellence under a single technical vision and mentor a team across multiple sites.

You will drive DFAM adoption, establish standards, and partner with Design Engineering to optimize lifecycle cost and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or complex hardware.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams in a multi-site or cross-functional environment.
• Experience across NPI, prototyping, production ramp, and high-rate manufacturing.
• Strong background in DFM/DFAM, process validation, tooling, and production systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle ownership from NPI to production ramp and rate manufacturing.
• Ensure robust manufacturing release readiness with CTQs and transfer gates.
• Lead transitions to production, including rate readiness and line balancing.
• Align NPI, Additive, Machining, and Assembly & Test COEs under a unified operating model.
• Establish cross-site standards for process definition, handoffs, and data traceability.
• Drive yield, throughput, cost, and automation improvements across sites.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineers.
