Job summary

Owens Corning's Newark Pipe Plant is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to establish and maintain processes for furnace operation, forming and continuous molded pipe areas to meet specs and customer requirements. You will lead safety initiatives, set up control plans, and drive process improvements across production lines.

The role reports to the Newark Pipe Plant Technical Leader and requires 2+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in fiberglass, with a focus on lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years progressive technical manufacturing experience (fiberglass process experience preferred).
• Lean manufacturing and TPM experience preferred.
• Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities.
• Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ensure that all control plans, work instructions, and other procedures related to the technical operation of the production lines are in place
