You will lead continuous improvement across the glass making process, work with maintenance, and develop control plans that ensure quality and compliance while optimizing performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Engineering Development Program or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work environment and build a culture where safety is a first priority.
  • Maintain control plans and procedures to ensure safety of employees and production lines.
  • Develop risk assessments for critical tasks.
  • Conduct process audits and implement sustainable corrective actions for shifts or upsets.
  • Determine process capability (Cpk) and implement control charts for Critical Process Variables.
  • Develop and implement Operator Control Plans to ensure product meets specs at lowest cost.
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of product and process variation to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to resolve equipment issues and request capital funding as needed.
  • Educate employees on process control and establish task-specific standards.
