Job summary

One Stop Systems, Inc. in California is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of high-mix, low-volume manufacturing processes for rugged compute products.

You will partner across Engineering, Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Test, and external partners to transition designs into repeatable production. The role emphasizes Lean and Six Sigma, time studies, line balancing, and tooling development to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Hands-on NPI, production-readiness and first-build support.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or comparable certification preferred.
• Strong root-cause and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, esp. Infor/SyteLine and Factory Track.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, implement, and improve manufacturing processes across receiving, kitting, assembly, integration, production test, final inspection, and shipping.
• Lead the manufacturing workstream for new product introduction and production readiness reviews, including design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly feedback.
• Create and maintain controlled manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, routings, and labor standards.
• Design fixtures, jigs, tooling, and ergonomic layouts to improve repeatability and throughput.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and workflow analysis; establish labor standards in ERP/MES.
