Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a manufacturing process development engineer to support hardware manufacturing systems. You will strategize, design, and implement assembly, test, and packaging processes for electro-mechanical devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient production.

The role requires strong project management, leadership, and hands-on experience with manufacturing methods, tooling, and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing processes and line design.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily activities of the manufacturing engineering department.
• Collaborates with manufacturing managers, supervisors, and engineers to improve manufacturing and warehousing methods.
• Participates or leads projects related to product design, tooling, production equipment/fixtures, assembly methods, quality improvements and cost savings.
• Analyzes and helps production management plan capacity, define work space requirements, workflow and layout of equipment.
• Collaborates with production managers to estimate touch times, staff needs and costs for budgeting.
• Conducts research to develop and introduce improved manufacturing methods and validates assembly processes.
• Works with suppliers, quality systems, procurement and sustaining engineering to ensure quality outcomes.
• Represents operations in New Product Development to ensure manufacturability.
