Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA in Melrose Park, IL seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers, troubleshoot daily issues on assigned lines, and serve as the first escalation point.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage projects with vendor coordination, ensure validated, compliant equipment, and mentor junior staff while partnering with QA, Supply Chain, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with five years of experience in plant manufacturing within a regulated cGMP environment.
• Experience reading P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of regulated pharmaceutical standards for process and documentation, including cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Experience leading improvement projects and coordinating contractors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Manufacturing Engineers on daily engineering issues and act as first escalation point.
• Drive continuous improvements to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Lead improvement projects including funding requests, vendor coordination, startup, and documentation; communicate with Sr. Manager, Production.
