Fresenius Kabi USA in Warrendale seeks a Manufacturing Process Development Engineer to design and implement assembly, test, and packaging processes for electro‑mechanical devices. You will work with cross‑functional teams to meet manufacturing requirements and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing processes and line design.
• Familiarity with DELMIA Apriso / Apriso FlexNet MES.
• Knowledge of facilities, construction processes and project management.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily activities of the manufacturing engineering department.
• Collaborates with manufacturing managers, supervisors, and engineers to develop, evaluate, and improve methods and layouts.
• Leads projects related to product design, tooling, equipment, assembly methods, quality improvements and cost savings.
• Analyzes capacity, space requirements, workflow and layout to maximize efficiency.
• Estimates production touch times, staff requirements and related costs for strategic decisions.
• Develops and validates production instructions and procedures; trains staff accordingly.
