Job summary

Rausch and Pausch LP (RAPA) in Auburn, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and new production lines. The role focuses on manufacturing processes, automation controls, and cost/time optimization for rapid launches.

You will work with domestic and European teams to standardize processes, design fixtures, and oversee capital projects while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from accredited institution.
• 4–8 years of experience in industrial, process and automation engineering.
• Strong CAD and 3D modeling skills; Creo experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of electrical, controls, and programming is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Some knowledge of German language and customs is a plus.
• Ability to hold a passport and travel within Germany without accompaniment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical adeptness in manufacturing processes and maintenance.
• Coordinate with project team to develop new processes/production lines.
• Design, create prints and 3D models, and manage installation of new stations.
• Perform equipment commissioning and pre-acceptances for new lines.
• Develop PFMEAs and testing methods to assure quality.
• Assist maintenance and industrial engineering on troubleshooting issues.
• Own individual work and personal performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
