Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with Body in White, Paint, and Assembly is preferred.
• Able to present complex technical information clearly.
• Strong leadership and collaboration across diverse teams.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
• Improves production methods, determines manufacturing capacity, and sets up production schedules.
• Supports design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation for operations such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.
• Manages the implementation of continuous improvement processes to create a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Periodically ensures highly technical equipment meets specifications and quality standards.
• Implements cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
• Contributes to product and process quality design testing methods.
• Stays current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
• Provides guidance to less senior manufacturing engineers.
• May act as deputy for Production Manager.
• Proposes and manages medium-scale projects from beginning to end.
