Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems II LLC is seeking a seasoned engineering leader in New York to serve as the single point of contact for customer technical topics. You will manage a team of engineers and designers, drive multi-part system development, and ensure adherence to BOS, EHS, and Product Safety standards.

You will plan resources and budgets, communicate with OEM leaders, and deliver projects with no surprises. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding BOS, EHS, Product Safety and Compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide single point technical contact on engineering topics and issues.
• Lead group of engineers and technicians to develop complex systems per customer requirements.
• Plan resources and budgets for programs and launches.
• Inform leadership of significant launch or production issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer engineering decision makers.
• Collaborate with peer engineering managers and share best practices.
