Job summary
Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems I LLC in Louisville, KY seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer (Project Management) to lead large-scale lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. You will drive labor optimization, facility layouts, capacity planning, and manufacturing readiness for new programs.
You will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Program Management teams to implement future-state roadmaps, mentor engineers, and deliver measurable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Operations Engineering or related.
- 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering.
- 5+ years in automotive industry preferred.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale lean manufacturing and CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
- Develop facility flow improvements for material movement and space utilization.
- Lead value stream mapping and develop future-state roadmaps with measurable targets.
- Champion Kaizen events and coordinate cross-functional teams to eliminate waste.
- Oversee labor planning, time studies, line balancing and capacity analysis.
- Support new program launches and manufacturing expansions.
