Job summary

Epirus is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Process Engineer to drive standardization from design release to manufacturability and support daily production activities. You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams, implement digital work instructions, and lead the setup of manufacturing work center architecture for testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, software or systems engineering.
• 8+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Lean manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing experience (workstation design, automation, process flow).
• SolidWorks or 3D modeling design experience.
• Crane and Rigging best practices.
• Strong electro-mechanical background with large system integration.
• Proficient in documenting detailed assembly instructions with 3D models, pictures, diagrams and text.
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing knowledge.
• RF testing knowledge and safety awareness.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to interface with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Standardize ECN and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes from design release to manufacturability.
• Partner with electrical and mechanical engineering teams for producibility feedback.
• Develop digital work instructions, procedures, equipment, and workstation designs for standardized workflow.
• Evaluate and implement software automation solutions for test stations.
• Lead MES structure including work center architecture and product flow for testing.
• Support development of new factories and introduction of new product lines.
• Address hardware test non-conformances with test and engineering teams.
• Develop and validate innovative production processes for production readiness.
• Operate in a fast-paced agile environment and adapt to evolving design and production challenges.
• Use production data (SPC, FPY, yield) to drive design and process decisions.
