- Lead manufacturing engineering activities for New Product Introductions (NPI), supporting product transfer from design to manufacturing and ensuring production readiness.
- Support production line configuration, bring-up, ramp-up, and manufacturing scale-up initiatives.
- Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle support.
Process Development & Validation
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for new products and electromechanical assemblies.
- Execute process validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), and support manufacturing scalability objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput.
Fixture Design & Tooling
- Design, develop, qualify, and deploy assembly, test, and manufacturing fixtures using CAD software.
- Support fixture validation, troubleshooting, and production implementation for both mechanical and electronic test applications.
Manufacturing Engineering & Analysis
- Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, manufacturing procedures, and process documentation.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and product quality.
- Review engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and tolerance analyses to ensure robust manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field with 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering/NPI experience.
- Expertise in production line setup, fixture design, CAD, GD&T, electromechanical assemblies, and engineering documentation.
- Preferred experience with motors, encoders, motion-control systems, Python, Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement, project management, ROI analysis, and capital investment justification.
