Job summary

Heven AeroTech, located in Bingen, Washington, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and production. You will champion manufacturability, cost efficiency, quality, and scalability while mentoring teams on lean methods and documentation.

You will lead NPI initiatives, optimize assembly flows, and develop instruction sets and tooling plans to ensure successful builds. Strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Experience in high mix, low-volume, or complex assembly environments
• Experience with UAS is a big plus

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction (NPI): liaison between engineering and production for integrating new designs.
• Hands‑On Assembly & Design Feedback: build prototypes and validate assembly sequences.
• Work Instructions and Documentation: create detailed instructions and support documentation with Word/Excel.
• Process Development and Optimization: design and refine manufacturing processes using lean principles.
• Training and Support: train assembly leads and technicians on new products and processes.
• Quality and Continuous Improvement: drive Six Sigma, 5S, PFMEA and root-cause analysis.
