Columbia Tech seeks a manufacturing engineer to develop high-quality processes from pilot to full production. You will transition products from engineering to manufacturing and support ongoing production, ensuring lean practices and DFMA optimization.

The role requires experience with ECO/ECN, BOMs, ERP/MRP, and NPI, plus CAD proficiency and strong analytical skills. Occasional travel and office-based work are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Discipline.
• 6+ years in ISO regulated capital equipment product or contract manufacturing.
• Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks preferred), MS Office, MS Project, and MRP/ERP systems.
• Solid technical aptitude and understanding of electro/mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Familiar with GT&D, inspection methods and tools.
• Knowledge of Business Process Software; MRP/PDM; Epicor E9/10 and SW EPDM software.

Aufgaben

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from pilot to production.
• Process ECO/ECN handling in high-volume and low-volume environments.
• Evaluate new software tools to improve ECN/ECO productivity.
• Design and implement lean manufacturing layouts and DFMA.
• Maintain BOMs, work instructions, and ERP/MRP configurations.
• Support NPI and provide cost estimates.
• Lead junior engineers and technicians.
