Job summary

QuEra Computing, Inc. in Boston is seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer to help build next-generation neutral atom quantum computers.

You will develop manufacturing documentation, product structures, assembly and test procedures, and ensure smooth tech transfer into production. Collaborate with design, supply chain and contract manufacturers to release BOMs, manage ECOs, and lead manufacturing release processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in electro-mechanical or opto-mechanical products.
• Experience with NPI and transitioning products to production.
• Strong documentation control and BOM/ECM management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multi-level BOMs for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Create and release manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Coordinate technology transfer to contract manufacturers and external sites.
• Manage ECOs and documentation release processes.
• Collaborate across design, supply chain and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability.
