This role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4+ years of experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals, with demonstrated leadership, validation, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and typically at least four years of relevant experience (or Master’s with 2 years, or a recent PhD).
• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, R&D, or process development within medical devices or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• Demonstrated project leadership, validation, statistical analysis, risk management

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately to highly complex projects while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, technical difficulty, and business needs are met.
• Own investigations and technical problem solving for recurring, multi-functional, or higher-risk manufacturing issues.
• Develop project charters, plans, financial estimates, technical justifications, and capital requests and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement robust characterization, design-of-experiments, qualification, and validation strategies.
• Serve as process or equipment SME during audits, reviews, transfers, and technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and provide technical direction to project teams without formal supervisory authority.
