Job summary

Saronic Technologies seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead development and continuous improvement of production processes for autonomous surface vessel systems. You will design scalable assembly and integration procedures and collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure safety, repeatability, and reliability across builds.

This role blends product design with operational execution, balancing day-to-day support on active builds with long-term process development,

Qualifications

8+ years in manufacturing engineering for complex electromechanical systems.
Proficient in mechanical assembly, tooling development, and process validation.
Strong communication and documentation across engineering and production teams.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, document, and optimize manufacturing workflows for integration processes.
Own DFM/DFA reviews and improve build efficiency and cost.
Develop tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids for repeatable builds.
Support work instruction development, technician training, and real-time troubleshooting.
Collaborate with quality to define in-process inspection points and first-pass yield.
Coordinate with supply chain on part readiness and material flow.
