Job summary

Responsibilities include establishing manufacturing methods, supporting product development from a manufacturing perspective, and ensuring standards and documentation are up-to-date. A strong Lean and ERP background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a functional management role with direct reports.
• Experience with ERP manufacturing software.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 processes and audits.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing techniques, SPC, PPAP and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for manufacturability, product cost, workflow, quality & safety.
• Initiate, support, and lead Lean Manufacturing efforts.
• Lead and motivate a group of Manufacturing Engineers whose primary responsibility is to define and implement complete manufacturing processes.
• Develop manufacturing plans to include make vs. buy decisions, manufacturing processes, workflow, plant layout and resources.
• Monitor quality of engineering drawings, BOM’s and routers to meet customer requirements.
