Job summary

Pelco Solutions in Post Falls, ID seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. You will work on manufacturability analysis, cost reduction, and process optimization in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering and 5+ years of functional management experience, with ERP and ISO9001 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and 5+ years in a functional management role.
• Experience with material handling, manufacturing equipment, tooling and fixture design.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, and ERP manufacturing software; RCA and lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for manufacturability, product cost, workflow, quality & safety.
• Initiate, support, and lead Lean Manufacturing efforts.
• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers to define and implement complete manufacturing processes.
• Develop manufacturing plans including make vs. buy, plant layout and resources.
• Support product development from the manufacturing perspective.
• Monitor drawings, BOMs and routers to meet customer requirements.
• Reduce product cost while improving quality; ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient.
