Job summary

AMETEK Aerospace & Defense seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for our Wilmington, MA facility. You will investigate production issues, represent operations on new product development, and optimize manufacturing methods to meet design objectives.

Responsibilities include fixture/tooling design, PFMEA leadership, and collaboration with customers, engineering, and supplier quality. Requires SolidWorks and experience in ISO9100 environments; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal & external customers.
• Experience managing multiple projects to schedule milestones in ISO9100 environments.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production issues and optimize methods.
• Represent operations on new product development projects.
• Design and coordinate fixtures and tooling; lead PFMEA efforts.
