Job summary

MVE Biological Solutions in the United States is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to drive plant efficiency by applying manufacturing knowledge, Lean concepts, and quality systems.

You will use software tools to analyze data, troubleshoot equipment, and help introduce new products into manufacturing. Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 3–5 years in medical device manufacturing or 10+ in related field, and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial)
• 3–5 years of medical device manufacturing experience or 10+ years in a related field with increasing scope
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification required with proven process-improvement track record

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement systems and procedures to aid in manufacturing and enhance flow
• Conduct studies to determine causes and corrective actions for quality deviations
• Analyze workflow, equipment placement and space to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to transition new products into manufacturing
• Develop qualification and validation activities for new equipment, processes, and products
• Apply problem-solving tools to resolve assembly errors and reduce variances
• Identify opportunities for capital equipment improvements and ROI
• Manage capital equipment projects, budgets, and on-time delivery
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of production equipment (PLC)
• Promote safety procedures and policies
