Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Leetsdale, PA to lead advanced manufacturing improvements on a direct hire, onsite basis. You will apply lean methodologies, 6S, and cross-functional collaboration to drive quality and cost reductions.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, and ERP/SAP proficiency. You will develop SOPs, support new product launches, and mentor teams to sustain gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; BSME or BSIE preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in fluid power or related industry preferred.
• ERP experience preferred; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supports resolution of technical manufacturing issues across cross-functional processes.
• Implements Quality Control requirements with the Quality team.
• Documents and submits product improvement recommendations.
• Improves quality and reduces costs using lean methodologies (6S).
• Confirms new products can be manufactured cost-effectively before market launch.
• Develops and maintains SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
