Job summary

Nordson EFD, a global leader in Engineered Fluid Dispensing, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex manufacturing initiatives and mentor engineers and operations personnel. This role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance through data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of experience, strong statistical analysis skills, and expertise in process controls, automation, and capital equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of related experience.
• Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process engineering projects from concept through implementation, including capital equipment, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
• Serve as a technical expert for manufacturing processes, equipment, materials, and process controls.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex manufacturing issues using advanced problem-solving and statistical techniques.
• Lead cross-functional teams in support of operational excellence, new product introduction, cost reduction, quality improvement, and capacity expansion initiatives.
• Develop and implement advanced process controls, monitoring systems, and best practices to improve process capability and reduce variation.
• Drive continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
