Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of the Spirax Group, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead assembly process development across Hose, Pumps, Extrusion, Injection Molding, and single-use assemblies. You will drive performance improvements to support volume growth and critical manufacturing KPIs.

You will collaborate with local and global teams to standardize tooling, fixtures, and equipment, develop capital requests for site expansion, and work with production to enhance

Qualifications

• B.S Degree in Engineering or equivalent US Military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive portfolio of experience within a Manufacturing environment, preferably assembly and test utilizing SPC to maintain process consistency.
• Experience analyzing production assembly and test equipment and processes and documenting modifications.
• Experience with workflow optimization using lean transformation tools.
• Experience with 2D & 3D CAD.
• Proven FMEA, DFMA and RCA experience; Six Sigma Black or Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize productivity in collaboration with global teams.
• Design with ergonomic attributes of assembly equipment and cells.
• Support NPD teams to ensure manufacturing requirements are met in efficient processes.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory procedures, safety and quality within assembly operations.
• Procure jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids; ensure equipment safety and performance.
• Specify and purchase tools and gauges; provide frontline diagnostics on equipment and processes.
• Assist in reporting and solving production problems and customer complaints.
