Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing engineering in scientific instrumentation or medical devices.
• Expertise in process development, optimization and IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, SPC and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• CapEx cycles understanding and proposal experience.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced teams.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects.
• Experience with automation systems, robotics, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling from conception to production.
• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, yield, cost reduction, and quality improvement using lean manufacturing principles and SPC.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues, defects, and non-conformances.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions to enhance productivity and capabilities.
• Participate in capital expenditure planning and justification for new equipment and process improvements.
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, problem-solving, and cross-functional team leadership.
