Job summary

Eaton’s GEIS division in Sherman, TX is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and execute manufacturing engineering activities at the Sherman plant. You will manage capital and non-capital projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity, provide technical direction for fabrication, paint, weld, and assembly, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute manufacturing engineering activities at Sherman plant.
• Manage capital and non-capital projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support continuous improvement programs including MESH and TPM.
• Develop and implement TPM plans for production equipment.
• Create standard work for processes and integrate new processes smoothly.
• Provide technical direction for fabrication, paint, weld, and assembly processes.
