Job summary

Loud Solutions, on behalf of a fast-growing hypersonics company, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 5+ years to own and scale production of critical components for long-range strike systems in Torrance, CA.

This 0-to-1 environment requires building capacity, transitioning prototypes to high-rate production, and delivering thousands of units per year while ensuring safety standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, preferably aerospace/defense.
• Experience scaling from prototype to high-rate production.
• Experience with complex hardware manufacturing.
• Ability to develop process documentation (build instructions, test procedures, mBOMs).
• Comfort with hazardous materials in a safety-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Own a critical subsystem/manufacturing area, define processes, build capacity, and increase reliability.
• Develop and scale production processes for complex hardware (composites, propellants, bonding/epoxy, machined components).
• Transition development-phase manufacturing into production-ready assembly lines delivering thousands of units/year.
• Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test procedures, safety standards, and mBOMs.
• Partner with design engineers to drive DFM decisions and hit production deliverables.
