Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the High-Speed Missiles team. You will own production lines, bridge design and manufacturing, and scale processes for hypersonic systems from prototype to high-rate production.

This role demands strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive complex programs in a demanding defense environment. You will work closely with design teams on early DFM/ DFA feedback, architect tooling, and ensure

Qualifications

B.S./M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM.
8+ years in manufacturing or related field with NPI/high-rate production experience.
Willingness to travel <10% and U.S. Person status with eligibility for security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, commission, and optimize production lines, work cells, and floor layouts for hypersonic missile programs.
Collaborate with design engineers early in development to drive DFM/ DFA feedback.
Develop and scale manufacturing processes for exotic materials, TPS, and propulsion integration.
Architect, procure, and qualify custom tooling and automated assembly equipment.
Lead transition of hardware from prototyping to LRIP and high-rate production.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex shop-floor engineering and production issues.
Create and maintain work instructions, MBOMs, routing, and quality docs.
