Job summary

The candidate will design, analyze, and improve mechanical assemblies, lead troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement with lean tools while ensuring safety and quality across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university with 5+ years of experience working as a manufacturing or process engineer.
• HS Degree with 9+ years of manufacturing experience as an alternative to the degree requirement.
• Candidate will reside within 60 miles of Roxboro, NC (no relocation assistance).
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze complex mechanical assemblies for product lines.
• Provide ideas for improvements to existing products.
• Provide technical support to operators, maintenance technicians, supervisors and managers.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean tools.
• Ensure accurate documentation for processes and maintain quality standards.
• Design/implement product or process changes as required.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional teams related to product development or process improvement.
