Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Pontiac, IL is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop and optimize fuel injector assembly and testing processes, lead APQP and PFMEA activities, and support cross-functional teams in manufacturing settings.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and problem-solving to drive safety, quality, and cost reductions, with opportunities to influence new product launches and process validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation.
• Strong background in assembly, testing, and production support.
• Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Automotive or fuel systems manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for fuel injector assembly and testing.
• Lead APQP activities, PFMEA development, and control plan creation.
• Support production, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches and process validation.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement projects.
