Job summary

MANITOU Group in Madison, South Dakota, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes and projects on site, with a base salary range between $75,000 and $115,000 per year. The role reports to Manufacturing Engineering and requires minimal travel.

The successful candidate will develop methods, establish BOMs and routings, design tooling, implement new equipment, train operators and drive efficiency and cost effectiveness across production.

Qualifications

• Three to five+ years of fabrication and welding experience in equipment manufacturing.
• Three+ years in process development, tooling design, fixturing, and workstation layout.
• Three years in manufacturing engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods under supervision.
• Establish bills of material, manufacturing routings, machine burdens, and new work centers.
• Create work instructions for new products and design tooling.
• Install new equipment and train staff on operation.
• Study production time and efficiency to improve performance.
