Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective, high-quality production. You will bridge product design and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

You will develop process plans, tooling requirements and SOPs, conduct DFMEA/PFMEA and lead pilot builds to readiness before full-scale launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline
• Experience with manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and tolerance analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and standardize manufacturing processes for products
• Perform DFM/DFM analysis to improve manufacturability
• Implement process flow, SOPs and work instructions
• Identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency, yield and throughput
• Support operations, troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Collaborate with design, quality, production and maintenance teams
• Develop process plans, tooling requirements and production validation
• Conduct pilot builds and ensure production readiness
