Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking an Operations Engineering professional to support the Circuit Card Manufacturing Factory in Andover, MA. You’ll program and profile assemblies, assist operators, and drive process improvements.

This onsite role requires a STEM degree, several years in manufacturing, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Emphasis on Lean methods, data-driven metrics, and cross-shift collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience in manufacturing settings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reflow profile creation and validations using risk management techniques.
• Create and validate AOI programs.
• Translate engineering design or equipment requirements into process documentation.
• Computer and machine programming for Rework, detection, and inspection.
• Assist in detection and dispositioning of discrepant hardware.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrences.
• Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing.
• Manufacturing process support, operators, materials, and equipment.
