Job summary

Mainspring Energy is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong mechanical foundation to connect product design with scalable production. The role focuses on driving design for manufacturability, ensuring products are suitable for high-volume production.

The ideal candidate will leverage 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transition assembly processes from prototypes to production systems.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks or CATIA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, or a hybrid role.
• Proficiency in CAD tools.
• Experience influencing product design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Design for manufacturability with mechanical design engineers.
• Drive DFM/DFX initiatives and assembly process error-proofing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally for production scaling.
