Job summary

Gabriele & Company seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations Team and drive the product roadmap through advanced electromechanical manufacturing.

You will lead process development from NPI to steady-state production, leveraging DFX, PFMEA, DFMEA, GD&T, and tooling design. The role reports to the Sr. Operations Engineering Manager and requires Lean/Six Sigma expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electromechanical manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills (DOE experience preferred).
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma DMAIC experience (Greenbelt a plus).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, PLM tools (Arena preferred), and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development: manufacturability analysis (DFX, PFMEA, DFMEA, GD&T, tolerance analysis), tooling/fixture design, and equipment installation for NPI.
• Drive cost and efficiency improvements using Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, Gemba walks, time studies).
• Own manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process control plans, ECOs, and ISO 9001/QMS-aligned rev-controlled workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis on field failures and quality escapes.
• Champion safety standards across equipment, tooling, and daily production practices.
• Lead mid- to high-level projects, presenting status updates to leadership.
