Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Degree with required experience; alternative experience considered.
• 6+ years related to fabrication or assembly of close tolerance mechanical/electro‑mechanical parts.
• 8+ years proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to obtain secret level clearance and US Citizenship per site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze design documents to develop methods, tools, jigs, and fixtures for fabrication.
• Create work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and process validation plans.
• Lead the setup and validation of new production lines and processes.
• Address manufacturing problems with design/material/process changes.
• Provide manufacturing technical expertise and support for continuous improvement.
• Review designs for manufacturability and train personnel on operations.
• Interface with equipment vendors and specify equipment via SOR documents.
• Prepare capital equipment requests and workspace layouts.
• Conduct capacity, capability, and gage RR studies; participate in FRB investigations.
