Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace manufacturing with emphasis on airframe assembly and composites.
• Hands-on experience with composites materials and fabrication methods.
• Proven track record applying DFM for complex composite parts.
• Understanding of composite design, materials, allowables and testing.
• Experience with 3D CAD NX and Fibersim/Composite Workbench.

Responsibilities

• Lead Archer's most challenging composite structures on the shop floor.
• Mentor and guide manufacturing engineers and technicians, promoting ownership.
• Serve as SME on the shop floor, drive root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design to provide manufacturing input during early design stages.
• Develop composite processing techniques and tooling strategies for prototypes.
• Export flat patterns and laser projections; troubleshoot files on the shop floor.
