Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer with advanced 3D modeling and 2D drafting expertise to guide production from design through transition to manufacturing. You will apply DfX principles to self-governed robotic solutions, developing detailed drawings and communicating critical features to suppliers.

You will mentor engineers, support ECO/DFMEA reviews, and drive manufacturing readiness across the global supply chain, including cost and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Advanced modeling and drafting skills to influence design for production.
• Experience applying DfX across a global supply chain.
• Root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and redline 3D parametric models and 2D production drawings for manufacturability and GD&T compliance.
• Provide DfX guidance on electromechanical designs during concept and detail phases.
• Develop manufacturing-intent drawings and model-based definitions to communicate critical features to suppliers.
• Lead tolerance analyses and PFMEA/DFMEA reviews, and drive cost- and risk-reduction through design changes.
