Job summary

Amazon Robotics in Westborough, MA seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the transition of self-governed robotic systems from design to production, applying Design for Excellence (DfX) across a global supply chain.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability. The role emphasizes designing and evaluating processes, PFMEA/DFMEA, SPC, and supplier development, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience including new product introduction (NPI).
• Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide DfX guidance on electromechanical designs from concept to detail.
• Guide manufacturing tolerances using GD&T and launch tooling with accelerated schedules.
• Review production processes, qualify processes, and drive PFMEA/DFMEA reviews.
• Lead supplier development, MRL assessments, and root-cause analysis for failures.
