Amazon seeks a highly experienced Principal Manufacturing Engineer to lead the concept, design, build, and launch of production‑scale final assembly operations. You will serve as the technical authority for commissioning facilities, deploying assembly technologies, and establishing scalable production systems.

The role requires 12+ years in production‑scale environments, deep expertise in process engineering, capital equipment deployment, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in production‑scale final assembly environments.
• Experience commissioning and ramping up integrated assembly operations.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end line concept, design, and handover to operations.
• Drive line layout, cycle times, rates, headcount, and Capex.
• Lead equipment design, vendor selection, RFQ, FAT, and deployment.
• Lead production readiness and monitor OEE, quality, and throughput.
